Credit Suisse Group said yesterday it has acquired a majority stake in U.S.-based company Asset Management Finance Corporation from Montreal-based National Bank of Canada. The Swiss bank said the deal for over 80 per cent of AMF was paid for with $384 million US of newly-issued Credit Suisse stock.
